Strange G icon on my screen that does nothing

[Android Central Question]

I have suddenly god a G (google) icon down on my phone. (Nokia 7 plus)
it came after last update and it does nothing.

it just takes space (1 line) down on the screen.

Has anyone see this before?

Welcome to the forums. Can you post a screenshot? It's possible that's the left side of the Google search bar. If so, it can be removed using a custom launcher.

Check maybe part of a wallpaper you used or of your using a launcher?

maybe google that had some issues...

I rebooted 2 times, and suddenly the Googe Search come back .

Maybe there was an update pending for the Google app or Google Play Services and it worked after competed.
