Android Central Question
My wife has a Galaxy S8, which we about to replace.
Most of the screen layout is the same as or very similar to the previous layout. However there is one major difference.
The bottom line of icons are no longer right at the bottom of the screen but are now 25 mm from the bottom.
The only thing in the space below the bottom row of icons is a short horizontal line (about 4 mm) placed centrally at the top of the space.
Scrolling from Home Screen to Home Screw leaves this space untouched.
Swiping up on the bottom of the Home Screen no longer brings up the app, it brings up two folders and one app.
The first folder is a Microsoft folder. The app icon shows a blue triangle in a multi-coloured circle an, apparently does nothing. The second folder is Untitled and container a Launcher app and the App Drawer app.
How can I get rid of this and revert to the old standard layout?
My wife happily uses computers, mobile phone, tablet etc but is not very experienced. In this case she has no idea as to what has happened
