Welcome to Android Central! They're most likely cached images used either by some apps you installed, or by the ad network some of them use. If the developers weren't smart enough to make the app add a file called ".nomedia" in that directory, then those images will be added to the gallery database by the system. You can use a file manager app to locate the directory for those images, then manually add a blank file called .nomedia so that those images disappear from the gallery app.
