Stream Google Music or Music player?

I'm not concerned about storage space and could probably fit most of my music on 20gig of space. I have uploaded my entire music library to google and find myself using it at the gym etc.. I was wondering whether streaming from Google consumes much more batt than using doubletwist or any other player with music on board?

I have not noticed a difference between either one. I've gone between Subsonic, Google Music, PowerAmp, Rdio and Spotify. Spotify and Rdio seem to use more power than Subsonic or Google Music did.
