Hi

Would anyone be able to give me any info on how easy it is to stream wirelessly from my PC to my TV? I am presuming that I would need to obtain some form of streaming device. One essential condition is the ability to support YouTube, BBC IPlayer, ITV Hub & Channel 4.

Any advice, or details on useful links, would be gratefully received.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Don't have a PC in front of me at the moment so exact terminology may be wrong.

Windows has an app called connect, open it and its pretty self explanatory. Select the option for casting to an external display.

Then you just need to have your TV on, and the TV will get a pop up to accept the connection.

This assumes you have a modern PC and smart TV, which you don't specify.

Thanks for your responses and apologies for the delay in replying.

I have a Lenovo PC (model V530). My TV is a Sony Bravia KDL-32BX320, which was manufactured in 2012, so I'm not sure if that counts as modern.

Regards

You'll definitely need some piece of hardware in order to enable your TV to accept a stream of some kind. Two of the best devices are the Amazon Fire line and the Google Chromecast with GoogleTV.
