Strong Protection (Encryption)?

When I first got my S10e, Strong Protection (Device Encryption) is enabled by default.

I just installed the Outlook app on the phone and does the Strong Protection feature encrypt the contents and data in the Outlook app as well?

Not in the app, data is stored in storage, and that's what's encrypted. So all data, regardless of the app, is encrypted. (That's Android, not specifically Samsung.)

So in that case, I need to set a separate Passcode for the Outlook app to also encrypt the data in Outlook?

Outlook app has an option to set a passcode or a PIN.
