"Unlimited" data is NOT unlimited. They've cut my data twice already, and I don't use it that much....their reason? The "speed" I use it at. I live in an area where wifi is not readily available, and I have no internet in my home...so if I need to look something up, or wasn't to download an app, I need to use their network. I'd have my serviced on for 10 days and they turn of my data. Then they tell me my usage I'd suspended when I've paid for the new month....and it obviously is not. What a rip off.

Is there a company I can go to that's prepaid that offers unlimited everything where I can use my rooted android?

StraightTalk also sucked for me. If tmobile has good service on your area, they have a prepaid unlimited plan.

Are you looking for AT&T or T-Mobile? T-Mobile has a totally unlimited plan for $70/month - no throttle. I didn't need truly unlimited data so I went with Solavei(T-Mobile MVNO) for $49/month - unlimited/unthrottled for 4GB.

I'm using a rooted Nexus 4.

I was living in NC, where there was little to no available internet. As of tomorrow I'll be moving to NJ...have internet in the house, so unlimited data is not going to be necessary on my android...it just annoys me that Straight Talk can pull such crap. I am thankful for the info.
