Hey everyone, I finally took the plunge and unlocked the bootloader and rooted my Nexus One so I could get a look at the Sense UI. I'm not the most knowledgeable with this kind of stuff, but I'm not incompetent either. However, this one is leaving me frustrated. After many attempts with various zip files, rerooting, etc, I haven't been able to install a ROM, I always get the message E: no signature (1210 files) and E: verification failed. The folks at Modaco weren't of much help, so I'm really hoping you guys can help me save the Android phone that has grown on me so much. Thank you!

I'm not sure what your issue may be but can I ask why do you keep trying to re-root the device? Are you sure that did not take the first time?

I flashed a new recovery image onto the phone, and now my WiFi works just fine, but still no luck flashing a new ROM without the verification error. I read somewhere that rooting may have been the issue so I just gave that a shot Jeremy, like I said, I'm far from the most knowledgeable in this area, but I felt comfortable enough to take the plunge. So I can use my Nexus for the time being, but no Sense UI still.

Have you tried installing a different ROM to see if another takes?
