Stuck at 30.01 Bootloader

I did not do the 2.2 OTA because there was no SBF available. Then the full SBF became available, but I really had no reason to go through the hassle as I was running fine on the different ROMs I tried. Then the overclocking thing came along and I read reports where the phones that took the OTA overclocked better than the phones on leaked 2.2. So I had a compelling reason to go OTA. Thinking that the simplest way to accomplish this would be to SBF to the full OTA 2.2 SBF, that's what I did. The problem is that my bootloader is still 30.01 and not 30.03. I'm wondering if this will have implications down the road when Gingerbread comes out. I've tried SBF'ing back to 2.1 and that doesn't work, it errors upon reboot. I'm wondering if I could obtain the 2.2 OTA update.zip and boot into recovery and apply it if that would work. Does anybody know where a copy of the update.zip is located?

if you flashed your system to 2.2 using the sbf, you cannot go back to 2.1 at all...it has a different base level and will screw things up

As I indicated in the OP, I tried to SBF back to 2.1 and it didn't work. What I'm thinking now, and it's a long shot, is that applying the OTA 2.2 update.zip might update my bootloader to 30.03. It would probably fail at install, but I don't see where I have a lot of options here. Rumor is that there is a 2.2.1 update coming out, I could try to do that one OTA and see if it updates the bootloader as well. For now, I'd like to get my hands on that 2.2 OTA update.zip and try it.
