STUCK in Boot loop

Read threads available but no matter what i try i can't get into download mode.

If I plug in the USB cable I get a black battery (no green), or with USB unplugged I get a white SAMSUNG. When I remove the battery I don't get anything at all. I've also tried all the combinations with the SD card out.

Sometimes I get Odin to see the phone with the white SAMSUNG but i can't get to download (or recovery) and flash attempts fail.

I'm leaving the battery out and will check back to this thread in about 5 hours (must sleep ). any help would be fantastic.

please check the thread here for changes, also download and install the drivers from step #1

try the following..
1. with the battery out plug your phone into the back of the computer then just press and hold volume down button until in download mode

2. with the battery out, hold volume down button and while keeping it held plug the phone in and hold till in download mode

3. with the battery in plug your phone into the back of the computer then just press and hold volume down button until in download mode, then without unplugging remove the battery

4. with the battery in, hold volume down button and while keeping it held plug the phone in and hold till in download mode, then without unplugging remove the battery

In order to get into download mode open ODIN on pc, battery has to be out of phone, hold volume down button, plug phone into pc via usb cable, continue holding volume down button until yellow triangle appears on phone's screen and first thin rectangle on the left of ODIN turns yellow.

Having the battery out, using the volume down key with USB cable plugged in did the trick - for me, having the battery out long enough was the only difference.
