Stuck in Headphones mode

Hi to all! this is my first post..just joined this forum! (sorry for my bad english)
My phone was stuck in headphones mode for more than a week..(had the headset icon on status bar without any headphones plugged in)
I couldn't hear any incoming calls..(only if i turned on loudspeaker after i answer the call)
No sound on videos, music etc..
and every time i plugged in/out the headphones my phone auto called the last number I dialed
I contact HTC support.. they asked to do some steps to fix it..but nothing helped!
I was ready to send it for checkup/repair, but today it get ''fixed'' by it self.. the icon is not there anymore...
Anyone else had this issue?? and what did you do???

Welcome to the forums.

I had this same problem and the only fix I found was to get it replaced.
