Stuck installing android?

I tried to follow the instructions and got to the point where it wants the update-cm*.zip file but I can't put it on the device.

I get a "removable disk" in windows but I cannot open it... it wants me to insert disk.

What I see on the touchpad is just the boot screen I guess. The black/white screen and it is telling me when buttons are pressed, usb ejected/plugged in, etc...

Nothing seems to work and I don't know what to do from here!

Just can't picture what your talking about by your description. Are you following the guide you linked? Or are you following the guide linked in the guide you linked?

It's pretty easy to install so I'm not sure what you messed up on.

Is your TouchPad still bootable to webOS?

im having the same problem, followed tutorial and now its looking for the zip install, it never booted all the way

If you cannot see the Touchpad in Windows it sounds like you have a USB driver issue, have you tried another PC/Laptop?

Which version of Windows are you running?
