Hi everyone,

I rooted my Galaxy Nexus a while back and am unable to receive automatic updates from google. Is there anyway to revert back to the default build so that I can receive the updates from google automatically?

Current build number: JRO03C

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys,

Yes there is... Since your rooted and already unlocked you have options...

1. Main key here is your unlocked, so unless you physically lock the device back up yourself in fastboot " fastboot oem lock " you will stay unlocked.

2. Two options to revert back. One option would be to grab the factory images directly from Google for your model of GNex and follow the instructions by Google to restore back to stock. Second option you could grab something like Wugs Toolkit and let it handle the dirty work for you.

3. If you want to retain your important data to restore once your back on stock, you can use Titanium Backup to save your important stuff and then restore it once your back on stock and obtain root again.

Any further questions ask and good luck.
