Is this a good program for parents to consider when looking into devices for school?

Welcome to the forums. There is a lot of context missing. It's hard to answer when all that is stated is it's a device program for grades 5-9. Grade 5 in the US starts about age 10 or 11. I don't think a 10 or 11-year-old needs a phone or tablet.

Some more context. The devices are not exactly 'free reign' they do have parental controls and such.

I think It's a good program especially if you have more than one kid your not putting out all that money for a Chromebook which they do their school work on .

So yes definitely look into it , I'm in the US by the way.
