Stuttering

Has anybody been experiencing stuttering since the Oreo update or is it just me?

not stuttering. but I notice sometimes I have to close and reopen apps and chrome in order to get it to load up. kind of annoying. I have a z2 play as well and sometimes that's alot faster then my pixel is. which is strange to me.

I do. It's a bloody shame but I think Google's tailored Oreo around the Pixel 2 more that the original Pixel given how buttery smoothe Nougat was.

I'm seeing a lot of stuttering as well as app crashes. I know the app crashes are more then likely because they have not been updated but this has been out for several weeks now. They need to push the app updates out to us. It's not like they didn't know about this

Agreed! But it's like Jerry's article a week or so ago. Such a small percentage of devices on Oreo right now, they just don't put the attention to it that they should.

"Developers can either target the version with the most users, work to provide multiple copies of their apps or build apps in a way to work on both the new and the old, or go for that 3% of users with the new version. We all know what happens, and new apps launch without new Android feature support and don't get updated to use them until there are enough users to justify it (if they get updated at all)."

About those stuttering, do you have Enpass autofill enabled?

I turned it off and the lag disappeared! I even tested it with the Profile GPU Rendering enabled and the difference is huge!
