Stylus or S pen

This is probably a dumb question but will a stylus work with the s5? Has anybody tried? I want to try the s pen but I'm reading that it may not work. Just wondering before I buy a stylus.

Just tried my coworker's S Pen and it doesn't work. I wonder if somebody has a regular stylus

Any capacitive stylus will work (not the SPen, which is specifically for digtizers on the Note series). If you activate Touch Sensitivity, you can use a wooden pencil.

Stylus works.
I tried 3. Just scrolled up and down in this forum as I don't like them.
I have an old, big fat one that I hate. Tried two with a pen on they other side. One was an expensive, nicer one. The other was a dollar store one.
