SU permissions problem

First, my hero is rooted with and running option 3 from the old 2.1 leak. I did flash the radio update someone removed from the new RUU.

Today I tried to do 3 things that require root. I attempted to use the over clock widget for the first time. When I tried to use it the screen turned black with a gray bar at the top that said "SU request" then nothing else happened. No option to grant access or deny.

Later, I decided to try a new ROM, to I bought and d/l'ed MyBackup Pro. Same problem, it recognized I had root access, but stopped working with the black "SU request" screen.

After that I tried "Shootme" which requires root access and took this picture so everyone can see what I'm talking about:

is usb debugging on( settings/applications/developement) i think this needs to be on for SU to work

if the USB debugging IS on then reboot. still no? then try uninstall/reinstall shootme or overclock. that should reset it so the screen will come up again. then you can click allways allow.
