Subfolders in Exchange

I just picked up a new HTC one with AT&T and just noticed that I am only getting notifications when emails arrive in my inbox. I have 10 - 15 other folders that I use to organize my emails based on projects that I am working on etc. And I have rules (in outlook) that take emails coming in and puts them in their appropriate folders. I think everyone does this. But I don't get notifications on those folders. What am I missing here? I want to see notifications when I get emails in a folder that not the "inbox"
 
Do you have those folders synced? In email, go to Menu/Settings/Sync,Send&Receive/Folder to sync and make sure you have the folders you want synced checked. I only sync my Inbox, Sent and Trash so Im assuming this will work for you.
