i have a few sports teams' schedules subscribed on my gmail calendar, as well as some of the included events like lunar events, holidays, etc.....but they don't sync to my device calendar. so far all i can get is email notifications for these events. is there any way to get them to actually show up on my device calendar? or is it a limitation of the subscription process its self.

TIA.

While in the Calendar app click Menu and then Calendars. All of your calendars should show up, check off the ones you want to show up on the device.

the only options are
my calendars (device calendar)
patches152 (synced from my gmail)
outlook (synced from my PC)

the subscribed calendars are attached to my gmail account. when i log in online, i can see them as sub-calendars on the gmail, but they don't show up on anything my gmail syncs with.

so they're not actually ON my gmail calendar, they're just subscribed via ical or a URL. what i wanna know is how do i get them onto my device?

Maybe thats the problem. All of mine are synced. They all show up and I can pick and choose which ones I want to see on my phone.

Edit: I only use gmail calendar and subscribe to some via URL.

I use Spanning Sync on my Mac to sync my Google Calendars with the calendars on iCal, and they answered this question by saying that this is a known issue; that for some, unknown reason, Google has marked these calendars as unsyncable.

That said, I am able to sync them with my Eris, so perhaps the HTC calendar app ignores that do not sync flag.

See here.
