Sudden battery drain, what's happening?

I bought my phone early in september and the battery has been good. Suddenly a week ago my phone started draining battery like crazy. I didn't install anything new before this, and I always charge it around 30% and taking out the plug when it reaches 100%.

My phone was newly charged and on 100% at 10 pm before I went to bed, this morning (8am) it had 5% battery left. I always quit apps, the phone is on battery saving mode, and my screen brightness at the lowest or so. When i look at details of battery usage i see some apps use 1%, but nothing stands out. I'll post a picture of this later.

Anyone got ideas why this suddenly happened? I've always been happy about the battery life.. :-\

Welcome to Android Central! Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Thank you, I will post it soon. How do I show the fullscreen battery graph though?

This is not always available on all phone's stock battery menu. If you tap the smaller graph, that may bring up the fullscreen graph. If you don't have it, then you'd have to install a 3rd party battery app like GSam Battery Monitor.

my battery is fine, but my "fast charge" doesn't work at all. It hasn't for several weeks now. What gives?

Hi, please create a new thread for your question, since it doesn't relate directly to the question in the original post of this thread. Thanks!

Same here with the battery drain... the last few weeks it is draining like crazy. I close all apps, I have powered off...Android System is killing me for some reason.
