Sudden rapid battery drops

So lately I have been noticing some serious battery drain issues. I wasn't 100% sure, but I just had my phone go from 71 to 43 in 20 minutes with just Facebook and messenger.

I might have to go to att this week and see if I am still covered by the insurance if this keeps happening

Is there a lot of apps running in the background???

I ran device care and it closed 5 background apps. Only 4 apps are showing up in battery usage.

I've gone from 96 to 67 in 1h 10m

Try going into recovery and clear cache , also you see anything with high battery stats?

Did you recently install some apps? Does the battery drain still occur if you're in safe mode ?
