Sudden Signal Issue

I've had the x for a few days and everything has been fine.

This morning my droid keeps dropping 3g signal and re-acquiring it

I have 3-4 bars of 3g then suddenly the 3g icon is gone

then like 5 seconds later it comes back. it did it 3 times in 10 minutes.

its somewhere i've had signal before

anyone have this happen before?

I had an issue with my radio when I first got my X in August. It would not get any data. Verizon had to send me a replacement. Sounds like that might be it. Have you tried updating your roaming (*228 opt 2)? Might help. If not I would bring it in, the issue was addressed early but you might have one of the bad radios.

it worked for a few days before starting this. this is really annoying

Totally understand. Had mine for 2 weeks before I noticed any issues. Took it into the VZW store and they did a factory reset and it wouldn't connect data to reactivate. They had a new one at my house the next day. Had the replacement for 4 months and have had no further issues.

ok i'll have to go to vzw and ask them to replace it. tho i'm going to get it at the store. i've had the phone for 4 days. this should be covered under the 30 days

i'm going to hold off on the replacement for a few days. we are under a wind advisory here. gusts over 50mph so it may be weather interference.

if it continues later in the week i will replace

thanks, i really hope thats what it is. the phone has been great so far. last night it was laggy and locking up and now this. i really hope i don't have major issues with it.
