suddenly I cant send or receive a picture message attached to a text. WTH?

I have had unlimited Text, picture, video messaging for as long as I can remember. At no time did I need to turn off my wi fi and turn on Mobile Data usage to receive or send a picture attached to a text. So is the phone provider causing the problem or is it the phone. Because if somebody tells me that all of a sudden I have to PAY to use my own damn Wi-Fi I will take your phone and toss it in the garbage. It has been nothing but a problem from day one. My other Android phone was outstanding! but this LG G3 is horrible. The phone service provider blames you guys......so.... somebody wanna help out here?

I just updated my Galaxy S6 Edge to Android 5.1.1 and all o a sudden can't send or receive texts with pics attached. After an hour on the phone with AT&T support they recommended a device reset. Sucks because this is the 3rd replacement S6 Edge I've had and only had it a week.
