OP: I use Solid Explorer myself. It's a pretty good app.

Something that you can do about threads in the future is you are allowed to bump them once per 24 hours. Some forums get pretty busy and new threads can often bury one quickly.

Another suggestion is this topic can be placed in general help and how to category. That category has much more traffic and might be spotted more easily.

I like Total Commander. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander It doesn't look as pretty as some file managers, but it has loads of features and works well.
