Super Evo Up

I'm confused .... reading the change log, this is simply a themed version of CM6? Why not release a flashable pack?

There is enough cookie cutter ROMs. the last thing we need is people themeing a current ROM and slapping a new sticker on it?

Dont know

Do not have a good answer for you. I was playing with V 1 and it was really fast. I can upload some screen shots later but for now I really don't care much about it. I was flashing the V2 and had my phone sitting on the dinning room table plugged into the wall. One of my daughters friends knocked on the door and my 90lb boxer went shooting for the door barking like crazy snagging the cord and taking my phone with it. I was in the middle of flashing when it happened. Now the phone is bricked and the screen is shattered. Looks like I get to go to Sprint tomorrow, good thing I pay the $8.00 for insurance. It is probably gonna cost me $100.00 though :( Delete this if you want doesnt matter to me one way or another. If it doesnt pass your smell test and you want me to delete, let me know. For now I'm gonna go pound a few and go to bed.

I agree 100%

Quite frankly I'm rather tired of seeing the same rom 100 times with a different name and theme. Lets be original people.

Thought I would play with it

Well I started following him on twitter because he is handling the Desire hd 2 EVO port. So when he was posting his updates on twitter about super EVO I decided to give it a go. I was getting 38 and 39 MFLOPS on stock CM6 and 45 on super EVO and it was smooth. I liked the way some of the changes in UI where made so when he tweeted that V2 was up I thought I would throw it out there. And I was using cm6-snap-v7.5-havs925, so yes that is what was giving me my performance boost. I guess I should have posted cm6-snap-v7.5-havs925 rocks then I wouldn't be getting so much grief over this

Heading to sprint now, have a feeling my wallet is gonna be $100.00 lighter :(

If you just need to file a claim you don't have to go to the sprint store. They will just tell you to file a claim online or over the phone. You won't leave the store with a new replacement phone.

Unless you are married to the HR Director of a company that has a nationwide sales force and your wife has the responsibility of approving all corporate cell phone purchases. She made a call last night, I got a new phone today and I did not have to pay the $100.00 like he said last night. Rooting now :D

Rooted and finished restoring my nand from last night. Gonna stay with this rooted stock Rom for a few days after last nights debacle.
