I just got the G8 plus. It's a great phone so far but my last 2 were Motorola turbos. My first SP was a Nokia WP.... Such a profound mistake that was. I thought maybe because everyone else had the iPhone or Android phone that I would try WP due to the fact that they made some of the words best software so that they could have happened to make a phone halfway ok. I was just so wrong... They just obviously didn't have a clue. At first I thought I was ok but then I realized that the other phones were ten years ahead. The lack of apps and overall ability compared to the other phones was astonishing.. Literally the only upside was I was in school so I could link Ms office to any pc so I could get work done any time.... Turns out Google docs is a good program and is free. It has so now I'm droid/the Google all the way. Even my tvs have chrome casts and the naVigation in my car link to my phone so it is basically a 8 inch galaxy 8. Unfortunately my better half is still an I Phone with the hope she switches when her upgrade comes up. Then every device will be linked.

So that is a record of my tech life, and I what I left out is that I have do much to learn still to get everything worked out and get full advantage of the nutty *** cost of it all. So now I hope to get some new friends willing to help out with problems I'm aware of and things that I would never have known about.

In return I'm not sure who I could help with technical questions but I am very qualified at being a boxy building manager and coach. So I am happy to help out with that topic if anyone is interested in my assistance. I charge several hundred a session but on this site all so ask is that you help the best of your ability.. D

OK well now you have an idea of who I am and what I bring to the table. Glad that I stumbled upon your slice of the web. Last night it took me 5 hours to learn how to restore deleted data.... I still feel like a total failure in computer science.... Please don't beat me down too much, I even though I absolutely deserve the tough love hJ

Welcome to the forums.

We were all beginners at some point. You'll learn as you read the forums, watch related YouTube videos, catch the blog or listen to our podcasts. Just take it slow, and keep in mind that it is probably going to be a lot of info thrown at you all at once. Just don't get frustrated.

Welcome to AC Forums, great intro.

Welcome to the forums! Hey, if you're a building manager, I'd certainly have a few questions about tenant issues and policies! 😜 Haha.

And do not worry about being inexperienced - every user here is at a different point in their mobile/Android journey! I'm not very well-versed in super techy stuff - everyone has different strengths and skills!

Feel free to float about the forums, and ask us for help when you need it! Enjoy!

@T1Kbeefcastle..We welcome to ACentral :cool:

well Win's-Phone couldn't make it in the mobile market

but Microsoft won't Go broke, for that reason-Huha!

We hope you learn, what you expect here - Bye

Welcome aboard! :)
I knew very little when I joined several years ago, and there is still a vast amount that I don’t understand and probably never shall. Main thing is, enjoy. :)

Hello and welcome to the forums at Android Central!

Don’t worry about a thing, everyone has had to learn along the way.

So enjoy and have fun!

Welcome to Android Central!

To start with, you could make sure she uses Google apps on her iPhone -- after all, the iOS versions of Google apps are often nicer than the ones for Android!:'(
