Super Pad not charging

I hope someone can help me. I purchased a superpad 10.2 inch screen that I purchased from craig's list. It worked great for the first couple days, then it will only charge to 57% and then die if u unplug it. Help please. I have read that maybe there's a problem with the connection being loose and I have read that maybe I need to get a 9volt charger instead of what came with unit. Not sure what to do. Thanks for all your help and feed back.
