super simple way to disable 4g or lock onto 4g

ok click the phone button and dial this # like your trying to call it
*#*#4636#*#*
then click phone information and scroll down until you see "cdma + lte/evo auto

you can change that to cdma auto prl and then it will no longer search for lte.

I believe if your in a weak lte area you can change to lte mode only to lock lte only mode.
