Super wierd issue. Phone keeps acting like it's connecting & unconnecting, but no cable is inserted.

My phone recently started acting really odd. I can set it down and without it being connected to the usb cable, it will make the noise like it is connecting/disconnecting via usb. Nothing appears on the screen.

It was happening on the stock sprint GB, then I rooted it (rooted stock rom) and it is still happening.

I have tried to search, but didn't see anything. Any ideas?

Your charging port is probably going, or has gone bad. Also, you should update to JB since GB is now a bit dated for this phone.

I'm actually on JB not GB.

I don't know if I want to spend the money to fix it. Ugh.
