Hi everyone just checked the support page and had a Chat with someone, they stated a large update was coming soon that would explain the delay and that he had the Black one in his hand. He said:

It takes great pictures with depth and color
Good heft and feels solid in the hand, he has dropped it a couple times and no damage at all
He had a BluXL before and this phone is a huge upgrade

The biggest news he gave was that an email will be coming out to those who pre-ordered and is absolutely coming out. So expecting something soon!!!!!!!!!! GET EXCITED!!!
 
Sound is clear and great microphone when taking videos.
He has no issues with battery life....
 
he would not give specifics, I but he said he had no problems with battery life
 
"Soon" depends on how a person defines it. Does "Soon" mean today or maybe within the week? Maybe next month lol
 
COO says the launch in the us is imminent.

before you ask Webster defines Imminent:

1. About to happen.

so "Soon"....

Essential should be launching "imminently" for those of us who do plan to buy. That's positive news. :D

Seems they have disabled the Live Chat option. I can only fill out a form for them to review.
