Suppose the new SLCD screen will fit?

Ya think the new SLCD screens will drop right in our AMOLED-screened DIncs?

It theoretically should. One of the "reasons" the Froyo update was delayed was to support SLCD. It should be the same form factor because the size didn't change. The only question mark would be the connectors. I’m not sure if they are the same or not. In addition, there is the stupid possibility that the mounting screws are not in the same place because some dumb a** engineer didn't think about it. I know HTC isn’t Dell. But they may hire out of the same talent pool.

I was just curious in case I break my AMOLED screen. I replaced the screen on my Storm and hope it would be as easy on the DInc.
