Supposed to come with SD Card?/Question

Hey everyone,

Recently purchased my Incredible at a store but had to have it sent to me due to the store being sold out. Well, I got it and noticed it didnt come with an SD card and Ive heard many others DO come with one. Should I go back into the store and question this or is this how they all come?

Also, Ive been monitoring the battery usage of my phone.

Yesterday my phone had the Android system at 94% usage. Ok, after this mornings update(and im not sure if its due to the update), its now down in the 20-30 range with "Cell standby" and "Phone idle" now being up there around 40-50%. Im not entirely sure why Im getting these numbers from idle and standby but is there anything I can do to lower these numbers so that my batter will last longer? After 1 hr of not doing anything after taking my phone off the charger, my batteries at 80%..

My girlfriend ordered her phone this past Friday.. got her phone Tuesday of this week. It DID come with a 2GB microSD card/adapter

Then she got lucky. I ordered mine last week and didn't get one. I'm not worried about it though as I need more than 2gb for my podcast downloads and bought an 8gb at Fry's for $17 this morning.

I love living a 5 minute walk from Fry's, but my wife hates it.

Mine came with one. I pre-ordered online and had it shipped to me. MicroSD and adapter were in the shipping box with the phone.

That's generous of you. I purchased mine from Best Buy, and they said they came with one, but when I asked they told me they were not offering them to upgrading users, only new contracts. =(

Funny. I went into the Verizon store early this week and bought a case, car charger, and protective covers for the screen. The guy there asked me if I had received the 2GB sd card with mine. I said yes because I did, and because I have an extra 2 GB one already from my storm.

I assume he was meaning to offer me one had I not got it. I would go into a store and say you didn't get one but thought you should have. If they say no..they say no. The impression I got was that they all should have come with one.

I ordered on 5/1 and both of my phones came with one. But I actually said something to the sales rep on the phone when I ordered that I had heard other people were getting them when they placed orders. He said he would give them to me. I don't know if I would have received them if I hadn't asked for them specifically.

Pre-orders had nothing to do with it. I bought mine in store and got one. The rep told me that it was a promotion that only lasted until the 30th. I think it was a way to try and boost sales for launch.

I got my Inc at the VZW store on 4/29 - no SD card. I ordered one online for my son yesterday; it arrived today WITH a 2GB SD card... go figure, they must have still had some in stock with the cards in them.
