So,

I'm. Currently using a Pixel 3XL, but I have a 2XL sitting in a drawer....

Someone just offered to trade their T-mobile (now carrier unlocked) OnePlus 6t 128GB with 8GB of RAM for my Pixel 2XL....

Should I do it?

Swappa is listing the Pixel at $249 and the OP 6T at $410. What do you think? (Assuming that you can use TMobile or Mint, or just want to leave it in the drawer and keep the battery charged to about 50%.)

My only concern would be tech support. I know Google is great. I have no idea what OnePlus is like.

It's not a downgrade to me. I think the 6T is hands down a better overall device. I came from a pixel 2 and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I was concerned about the camera but in some situations I think the 6T is better, particularly in video recording.

If the One Plus is going for more money I say do it but I'll let @mustang7757 chime in since he owns every phone that comes out....well almost

Hahaha.. not all but good amount.
I would definitely recommend the 1+6t without a doubt, but the pixel 2xl I still hold dearly to my heart that phone ever since it came out , but I'll tell you one thing you wont be disappointed in the 1+6t at all , well maybe just the camera wont live up to pixel expectations but you want something new that's best bang for your buck without hesitation.

I had 6t and never liked it for its camera. In fact its a failure in taking kids photos or moving objects.I moved on to 2XL and it just wowed me with its camera, battery life and recommended app suggestion when I swipe up based on my usage (Google calls it AI built in these phones). I had note 8 too but 2XL is so impressive, I had to keep my beloved note8 in draw. Been using it for a month now and never felt a phone this impressive. The other thing with OnePlus phones I specifically encountered is that I get slight pain in my ear when I use it directly. I had the same experience with OnePlus 5 and 6T. Will never go back to OnePlus series again.
