Sweet!

Awesome. Played with it some last night. Very snappy. Browser is smooth. Pulse loads and refreshes much faster. Really enjoying it a lot so far. I didn't get to read much on it last night due to playing and testing other features but what I did read on it was fine. No lag.

Something to do until the Samsung Galaxy Nexus arrives, huh?! Did you read the engadget article about the limited storage "It seems that Barnes & Noble is currently limiting internal storage on the Android slate to 1GB of content not downloaded directly from B&N."
I'm thinking a custom ROM will fix that, huh? Since it has the microsd slot it probably isn't that big of deal, but I thought it was interesting!
Did you have a nookcolor to compare? I love mine but it lags some running Netflix so I think I'll sell it and upgrade to the tablet. New devices are so fun!

I sold my Nook Color to a Craigslist buyer this evening, and in less than an hour, had purchased a new Nook Tablet. Call your local Barnes & Noble. Some have reserved stock, others have none, and if you're lucky, you'll be close to a store that has stock available to any customer. The Nook Tablet is MUCH faster than the Nook Color. I never liked how when scrolling from screen to another on the NC, there was a laggy unresponsiveness causing the background to jitter. The screen switching on this NT is very smooth. Books open faster, pages turn faster, and Netflix and Hulu look fantastic. Since buying the NC in March of this year, I have moved past my fears of rooting, and I am excited to see how this thing flies on CM9.

walked into my local store and snagged one yesterday. one employee didn't even know they had 'em in stock.
