Swiftkey flow not working with Firefox

I just got the android 5.1.1 update two nights ago and ever since the stock swiftkey flow has been acting up with Firefox. It works fine with everything else.

If I mess with it enough and open and close it a bunch of times it will work again but then later it stops.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the stock s6 Samsung keyboard. Not the other swiftkey app.

When you use the keyboard in Firefox, do you have the prediction bar as usual?

You could try a couple of things. In Firefox settings - keyboard make sure that auto correction and word prediction are on. Also, if you don't mind losing your personal information in Firefox, you could clear data in the app settings.

Actually no the prediction bar is gone. Hadn't even noticed that before. Are those settings in Firefox as well? I only see them in my keyboard settings and they are both on.

Sorry for the delay, different time zones :)

I'm not sure if I completely understand your problem. Do you mean that you can't use your keyboard in Firefox with swipe /flow gestures or you can't even type letter by letter?

All the prediction settings need to be enabled for the swipe gesture to work. They are in your keyboard, browser and even in the particular Web page you're accessing. For example, a page will disable it when you're filling a password. If the prediction bar is missing it means that Firefox is blocking it. I don't use FF so I can't check where those settings are, try under personalization or security (in the Firefox settings). If they are already on, switch them off and back on. Maybe there was some conflict after the system update. If nothing works maybe you'll need to clear data, or even uninstall updates, for Firefox.

Yes I'm only talking about the swipe function. Thanks for the detailed options. I'll look around for those settings.

I am actually also experiencing issues with SwiftKey Flow on my Galaxy S5 (Android 5.1.1), but it is happening every time I use it. I have worked with Samsung support with no change. It will let me swipe one or two words seamlessly, but then it won't register the next word. I have to manually hit the space bar in between each word, and sometimes it takes an extra tap or two on the space to register the space, when this wasn't the case before. I tried wiping the cache in the App Manager for the Samsung Keyboard, Factory Reset (I recently replaced my Galaxy S5 so a factory reset wasn't that bad), and now the Wipe Cache Partition with no help.

I'm having the same issue with typing in any program. It recognizes a few words and then I have to wait or hit the space bar to type the next word. Very aggravating!
