I wasn't patient enough for Verizon to get us JB so I did the deed and unlocked and rooted my GN and threw on Bugless Beast on with stock kernel. I figured that was all I needed to do. I love BB and how it is stripped down and clean. I guess I let the idea of variety get the best of me because now I am running LiquidSmooth with tinykernel and I have CM waiting in the wings. Having the extra tweaks, I am finding, is a cool way to customize the experience even further, but am I doing so at a cost to performance and battery? Yup, always in the search for the best of both worlds.
So my question is....What combination have you guys found to be the best, for you, in terms of performance and battery life.
Oh, and another thing...how long do you feel (or have found) a typical boot time should be? I did just flash tiny kernel and ended up with a 3:45 for reboot - after the initial boot post-flashing. It took about three minutes to leave the Google screen. I powered the device all the way down and did a boot from scratch and ended up with 1:04 (only 15 secs on the Google screen)
Thanks.
