On the iPhone I used to keyword search apps all the time, difference being that it would automatically bring up the keyboard so I wouldn't have to click in the search bar.

Any way to do this on the note 10 plus?

Swipe up to get into your application tray and type in the search bar at the top.

Not on the default launcher and such a oversight IMO. As a workaround what I do is add a finder shortcut in the dock and I use that to search apps. In order to do that first you need to add finder shortcut as an app which you can do in finder settings. Clicking on the finder app automatically puts the cursor in the search box and brings up the keyboard.

But that doesn't automatically put the cursor in the search box and bring up the keyboard when you swipe up which was his original question.

You can do that on the stock launcher out of the box if you swipe down on the home screen. I switched it to bringing down the notification shade on mine tho.

Finder! The name of the Macintosh built in app that let you view, search, rename, delete (drag to.the trash can), and launch applications and files. :)

It was the first app that auto launches when you boot a mac .
