swiping to call or text & date stamp on camera?

I switched over from a Galaxy S4 & you could swipe from the contact or from the text message to call. Since I can't do that with my Droid Turbo is there a setting you can change to enable this? Also, can you put a date stamp on pic taken with the phone & is there a delayed time to take a pic?
