switch for cell web

I only have 1 gig a month on my plan with Verizon. I have the notice thing set but what I want to do is turn on the cellular web 4g only when I need to use a browser.
Is there any way to do this.??? Also I have turned off many apps to save power and download data but if anyone knows some other tricks to minimize data usage
please tell me....I got the Mini cause it was free. Otherwise I would have got the Ultra. thanks

Install a mobile data toggle, which will allow you to turn on or off 3G/4G mobile data with one touch. I like Power Toggles, because it's really versatile, and the dev is constantly improving it.

If you go into Settings>Data Usage, you should have an option to "Set Mobile Data Limit," as well as setting up a warning when you approach your limit (these options are only available when mobile data is on).
