Switch to a Galaxy S3?

I have an opportunity to pick up a Samsung Galaxy S3. Does anyone here know how the processor and overall performance compares to the Razr Maxx?

I will post this same question in the Galaxy forum also. I assume both devices are close in spec but want other opinions as well.

Were it me I'd keep the RMHD until I'd be ready to switch to something newer, maybe the upcoming Moto Turbo? But here are some threads here that make the comparison you want. I'm happy with my RMHD for the most part. I love the battery life which is very important. I wish it could keep up with the latest updates but that's the nature of the beast. I'll stick with what I have. I have to purchase my devices outright now to avoid losing my unlimited data from Verizon. I may call Moto direct and see if they will offer a trade in for something newer like the Moto X.
