I had the Atrix since it came out and although it was a great phone, the ****ty battery life and the annoyance of how hot the phone got, drove me nuts!

I switched to the Inspire and I'm getting used to it, it;s quite a bit heavier than the Atrix. I used to use Screen Shot It on my unrooted Atrix and i also bought the app as well.. I tried using it on the Inspire and says I need root privileges? Which I'm not really interested in doing..

So are there any apps that let you take a screen shot without being rooted? that'll also work long time on the Inspire?

Any help, would be appreciated

No. I don't believe there are any apps you can use. I looked everywhere for one and tried many; none of them work. In the end, I just ended up rooting. In this case, just about any one will work.

Thanks, I think I might have to root, even though I'm still scared to, ha. But I might do it after I get this phone replaced, it seems to freeze A LOT -___-

I was too. I suggest heading over to the XDA forums and doing a lot of reading and research before you dive in. There are two methods that I know of and by researching, you can decide which method you're comfortable with, possible hiccups you might experience, and it'll give you the opportunity to become familiar with the process. I'm very glad I did it.
