i recently switched from iPhone 4S to the Galaxy S3.
Loving it so far. The only problem is that when I use Whatsapp and want to send a video the limit is 12MB. even if it's only 6 seconds, it won't send. Whereas, in the iPhone it converts it for you. Is there any good converter that will trim down the file size?

Another option I use it Dropbox. Have your pics and videos automatically upload. You get 2 GB of storage free. Then, when you want to send a video via whatsapp, just share the link through Dropbox and then you can send any size video you want.

I recently made the switch as well like you loving the flexibility android provides, the tasker app is awesome! I do miss iMessage tho since just about everyone else I know uses iPhone. @jjb70 if you send a link to say a video stored on dropbox does the person you are sending the link to have to have dropbox also to view the video or pic?

in your camera settings you can lower your resolution down from 1080. It wont effect the quality that much
