switched phone carriers can't setup voicemail

I have a t mobile phone switched to metro pcs and can't setup voicemail

Each carrier has their own system for voicemail. If you use a voicemail app for your phone, it might not work with MetroPCS (even though they are owned by T-Mobile). You'll probably want to contact MetroPCS for assistance on this one.
