I have a data-only plan from the Sprint Relay Store for my HTC Hero ($30/month). I rarely use it as a phone. I'm ready to upgrade, but I'm still under contract. And I don't want to pay more per month to Sprint.
If I buy a galaxy tab off ebay, can I activate it through Sprint and deactivate my Hero? Will sprint have a way of knowing it's not a phone?
Or is there any other possible solution? I'd still be paying Sprint $30/month regardless. I just want to do it on a different device, a tablet instead of a phone (a phone that I barely use as a phone).
