Switching from one bluetooth connection to another automatically

I have my SIII paired with my home phone (answerable via my phone handsets), and also my car. When connected to the home phone, it will not auto connect to the car when I start the car. If I first go into the Bluetooth menu and disconnect from the home phone it connects just fine. For all other stops on my trips around town, since it is not connected to the home phone because of distance, it will auto connect just fine. The latter is true even if I do not manually disconnect from the home phone. It loses the connection due to distance at some point. I can turn off the engine at a stop sign, and restart, and the phone connects just fine. Is there a way to prioritize the connections, or somehow make the car the first one the phone connects to?
