Is there a way to switch between two apps you are using quickly vs the traditional way of hitting the recent apps button and selecting the other app?* Like a toggle between the two?

Example, I am reading a book in kindle app and copying parts for notes and pasting them in Evernote. Is there a quick toggle function to switch between last app used maybe?

I want to know this too. On the iPhone we just double-click the home button, then choose which app we want. Makes it very easy to quickly go back and forth between apps. There's probably something like that for Android too, right?

1) You could use the stock split screen function. Both kindle and Evernote are supported.

2)You could keep a bubble of Evernote floating so when you need it you could maximize it and write whatever.

I tried attaching pics to show this better. But for some reason tapatalk isn't attaching it atm.

Well you can do that. Hit the lower left menu button and you'll see the same thing as on iPhone you get from Double click home button. You'll see all the apps open.

I was looking for a shortcut to that where you could switch from one to another.

How spoiled have we become where 2 taps to reach your desired goal is too much?

Anyway, for a 1-tap toggle it would need to be a floating icon (annoying)...otherwise the current app would hide it.

LOL, first world problems.
