Switching to a Note 2 and Need Some Help

Hey guys,

I am currently using a Samsung Focus which has the Windows 8 OS on it. I just bought a Note 2. What would be the easiest way to transfer data over to my note from the Windows?

I've been googling around and gotten a lot of foggy answers.

What data are you trying to move? You can plug your Note 2 in to your PC and drag/drop files. For contacts, you should take the time to enter them into Google..it's easier and they'll always be there.

Oops, I meant to say contacts and things such as text messages.

I see a lot of tutorials on android to Windows but not much with Windows to Android.

The problem is crossing technologies. Contacts, like I said export them on the windows side (into a CSV) and you can import them via gmail. Text messages you'll need to find an app that can export your texts to CSV and hopefully one that can import them again on your Note 2. I would love to be more specific here but that's pretty much the limit of my expertise with Windows phone.
