switching usb connection types on the fly

After getting a new cable I was finally able to connect my evo to my computer. However i have to choose the connection at the beginning and can't change it without disconnecting and reconnecting. Is there software that will do that for me?

What you have to do is in the settings set it to Always Ask and then you can switch on the fly from the notification bar.

Pull down on the notification bar and then from the panel select the option to change the USB connection type.
