Hello all,

I’ve purchased a sword + Aceconn android box and having issues with my wi-fi when using it.
Any other device I use shows wi-fi speeds of 25mbps.
I also have a second 5G router that I’m testing at home that shows about 200mbps. (Both Roger’s)
I’ve set up the android box with both connections and when testing the speeds on the box the highest speed I can get is around 8mbps. I’ve even tried hard wiring it with an Ethernet cable and it still runs at 8mbps.
The seller of the device hooked it up at his place (hardwired) to test it and it ran at 80mps so I know it will reach those speeds.
I’ve tried resetting everything and disconnecting/reconnecting the connections with no success.
Any suggestions are very appreciated!
Thanks

Thanks for the help!
I cannot find any QoS settings on either router. I looked for traffic management too and no luck.
In case it helps. The two devices I have are:
Rogers Xfinity &
Rogers 5G home internet gateway

Did the seller actually demonstrate to you in person what the speeds were, or did they only tell you?

Do you know what level of ethernet cable you were using? Make sure it's at least Cat6: https://tripplite.eaton.com/products/ethernet-cable-types
Ya he did. I had it at home running around 8mbps, took it to his shop where it ran around 80. Then returned home, only to have it running around 8 again.
The Ethernet cable I have been using shows Cat5E. Would that be the issue?
Thanks again!

Technically, Cat5E should be able to handle up to 1 Gbps. But Cat6 cables (especially shorter ones) are inexpensive, so it's worth testing that out.
