Swype beta is updated again.

Get the updated Swype beta at https://beta.swype.com/android/get/

You need to uninstall both older Swype and Swype installer first. Then, sign in at the swype site and get the new version.

i ran into same issue last time I upgraded swype beta. It would allow the tap text but I couldn't swype. I had to uninstall the installer and app itself, reboot, then download/install the installer, then reboot, then install the app itself, and then finally it would register with swype and start working. had to do this 3 times but then it was good to go.

Can anybody get an APK for a Beta version?? I am looking for the one with the smiley face instead of the back button!!

please do not solicit unofficial swype apk's. i understand people want to be able to obtain a copy but do it the legitimate way. or at least do so on this forum. obviously we do not have authority over what you do on your own time but if you try to pass around swype apk's through this board and do so in a sneaky way then your account will be banned, especially since you are obviously aware that it is not tolerated on this forum.
